The new Fleurieu Aquatic Centre in South Australia presents Fleurieu Peninsula communities with an exciting and modern sport and recreation facility.
The project involves the construction of an environmentally sustainable indoor aquatic centre.
With an 8 lane, 25 metre lap swimming pool, multi-use rehabilitation, leisure and children’s pool and an outdoor ‘splash and play’ park this development will set the standard in community projects.
Designed by leading architect DWP Suters, the façade of the building will be clad in Abodo’s premium architectural Vulcan Cladding.
In keeping with the project's desire for a “sustainable build” Vulcan Cladding is FSC certified natural wood, sourced from sustainable plantations in nearby New Zealand.
The Vulcan façade will be finished in Protector coating - Graphite – a low maintenance shade of dark grey.
Abodo’s Western Australia distributor Austim supplied the project from Perth.
Abodo will be exhibiting at Design Show Australia 2024, among an array of leading New Zealand architectural and design brands.
