Stage one of Queensland’s Sandstone Point Hotel is nearing completion – much to the anticipation of Australia’s entertainment and tourism sector.
Located before the Bribie Island Bridge, the 35Ha waterfront site at Sandstone Point is located right on the stunning Pumicestone Passage.
The $50 million dollar development is set to launch on the 31st May, and will boast some very unique and iconic features.
One of the features is the project’s stunning exterior, clad in Abodo’s Vulcan Cladding. The Vulcan Cladding, pre-finished in Protector coating in Double Patina is designed to “silver off”, blending into the surrounding environment. The Double Patina pigment was specially designed for the project by Abodo – on request by designer KP Architects.
Stage one is a 3000m2 hotel which will offer a variety of dining, both inside and alfresco. Entertainment will include not only local, but national and international artists, festivals, spaces for functions and more. The site has a great history, which will be on display in a dedicated museum.
This combined will offer locals and tourists some of the best that hospitality has to offer.
Vulcan Cladding was supplied to the Sandstone Point Project via Abodo’s Queensland based partner, Urbanline Architectural.
