COMING SOON / New Addition to the Vulcan Timber Cladding Range
Delivering the high level of quality expected from Vulcan timber, this extension to the Vulcan Cladding range will bring even more flexibility to your residential projects.
With all the high-performance properties of today’s Vulcan timber cladding, the Standard Series range brings a light natural character to the timber‘s appearance – ideal for mid-range builds where premium clear lengths are not always required.
Sourced from the same ethically managed New Zealand forests – and crafted with the same proprietary thermal modification and vertical grain technology as our existing Vulcan Cladding – the new ‘Standard Series’ is distinguished by its appearance, the selection of colours, profile, and also its pricing.
Vulcan Standard Series is made from a mix of approximately 50% clear grade timber, with the remaining boards featuring some knots, resin pockets and natural features.
Additionally, the new Standard Series will be available in Abodo's nine Protector colours and one secret fix profile. This new option also comes in at a lower price compared to the current, premium Vulcan ‘Architectural Series’, making it a great alternative to deliver high performance timber cladding for more budget-conscious builds.
At a glance, here’s what you need to know:
- Available in Abodo’s nine Protector coating colours
- Only available in one secret fix profile – WB18 135x18mm – in Bandsawn Finish, which can be installed vertically and horizontally
- Thermally modified using heat and steam, with no harmful chemicals – for enhanced durability and stability
- Created with Abodo’s patented vertical grain technology for additional stability and improved weathering
- New Zealand grown and manufactured, from rapidly renewable Radiata forests
- Carbon storing – each square metre of 18mm thick Vulcan Cladding (Standard Series) stores 7.56kg of carbon
