Updates include discontinuing Vulcan Nexus Cladding and Vulcan Decking. Vulcan Cladding 20mm profiles move to 18mm, and a new WB21 Profile is introduced.
In response to market feedback, we are implementing several changes to our product range and will be reflected on our website by 19 December 2025. For easy specification reference, these are updated in our brochure now.
We are discontinuing the finger-jointed Vulcan Nexus Cladding from being specified as we have recently introduced Vulcan Cladding – Standard Series with its light natural character to its appearance. This different grade of timber means Standard Series is available at a more accessible price compared to the Architectural Series.
Limited clearance stock of Vulcan Nexus Cladding is available for builders now, on a ‘while stocks last’ basis. Contact your local distributor or reseller to enquire.
For residential applications, a smooth face decking board is preferred, so our reeded face Vulcan Decking will be discontinued, while Vulcan Smooth Decking remains.
Please contact us or your local distributor if you have specifications for a reeded (grip tread) heat tempered decking.
To make specifications easier, we are standardising all profiles that were 20mm to 18mm across both the Vulcan Cladding, Architectural Series and Standard Series.
In addition to the previously announced WB10 Profile move to the sleeker WB18 Profile update across both series, this now impacts the following Architectural Series profiles:
We have introduced a new WB21 Profile popular for garage door applications. Being stable, durable, and half the weight of hardwoods, Vulcan Cladding is an excellent choice for garage door facades.
To aid specifications now, you can see the updated range in our brochure.
Vulcan Cladding WB10 profiles are changing to a finer shiplap designed WB18 with cleaner, sharper lines.
